Choral speaking
Our school’s J.2 to 3 pupils formed a team of 50 boys and girls to participate in the 70th Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival (2018), mixed voice Choral Speaking competition in November, 2018. Our team achieved outstanding results with the Third Place.
The poem we performed this year was called I Can’t Find My Teddy Bear. Our boys and girls spent a lot of time and effort in preparation for their performance. They were excited to have a chance to take part in this great competition. They stood on stage and recited the poem. They had the opportunity to observe various performances from different teams and learn from them.
Through the practice for the competition, the pupils boosted their confidence, increased their self-esteem and found joy in their work. Moreover, they built a sense of team spirit. They learnt how to work together and help each other as a team. This is what our parents and teachers like to see. We are proud of you all, kids!
