English Curriculum Objectives:

     In the vibrant and ever-evolving academic environment of Hong Kong, embracing innovative teaching and learning approaches is essential. This will empower our students to gain the skills they need to confidently face new challenges in their everyday lives!

At our school, students explore a wide range of exciting stories, engage in creative writing, and develop essential communication skills. We focus on building confidence and encouraging each child to express their thoughts and ideas clearly.

     Therefore, our primary targets of the English subject are to devise and select optimum ways which are suitable for the needs of our students and can enhance the effectiveness of teaching and learning of English.

 English Subject Learning Targets:

• To provide students with more diverse learning experiences and to give them genuine language exposure through a variety of activities and competitions
• To foster students’ information literacy through the use of I.T. and various e-Learning tools
• To facilitate students to become independent readers and nurture self-directed reading skills
• To make learning English enjoyable and relevant through engaging activities and real-life applications
