Story Creation Workshop

There were two workshops held in December.

In the workshop, students learnt to ask WH-questions based on illustrations. Students interpreted stories with the help of prompting questions by the teacher. This helped them to understand the meaning behind some of the stories. After that, students created their own illustrations and shared with peers by explaining the meaning behind it. In the last part of the workshop, students learned about storyboards. Then, they worked on their storyboards. Students learnt to be creative in interpreting stories and creating their own.

The workshop was interactive as the teacher kept students engaged by consistently asking questions. Moreover, the practical aspect of creating illustrations and storyboards allowed students to apply the knowledge learnt. Overall, the workshop was successful as students learnt about creating stories in a fun way. Students handed in their work and the best 10 students were chosen to take part in the competition.
